An offset lithograph titled Improvision 31 (Sea Battle) after Wassily Kandinsky (1866-1944). This abstract work depicts brightly colored geometric shapes, some reminiscent of water. The piece is presented behind glass in a wood frame with a dark red cherry stain. Wassily Kandinsky was a law professor, a spiritual writer and an early to mid 20th Century painter originally from Moscow who was known for colorful, expressive and abstract paintings.
