Vintage Sapphire Blue Beaded Gown Attributed to Stenay
Item Details
A vintage beaded gown attributed to Stenay. The sapphire blue gown has a high, round neck, with an wide keyhole opening, short sleeves, and a slightly fitted waist with straight falling skirt. The sleeves, bodice and hips are lavishly beaded throughout, with stylized sequined leaf motifs at the hips. There are long beaded strands trimming the keyhole opening, and the sleeves. The dress has a short underskirt, which falls to approximately thigh length, with a sheer, pleated floor-length overskirt. The back of the dress has a large pendulum shaped opening, and the dress zips up the back. The piece is not labeled.
