A pair of offset lithographs on paper depicting images from the Book of Kells from the Trinity College Library in Dublin. The Book of Kells is an illuminated manuscript of the four Gospels of the New Testament that was created in the first century A.D. The first print is the image of Christ on his throne from folio 32v. He is surrounded by disciples and borders of elaborately knotted designs with a peacock on either side of his head. The second depicts the lion, symbol of St. Mark. Printed below the image is title and location information. They are both presented behind double mats and glass and framed with sawtooth hangers.

Condition

- minor wear to frame finish; dust collection to glass.
