Item Details
An East Asian watercolor and ink painting on paper of an eagle with its wings spread. This carefully-rendered piece depicts the bird on a stony outcropping turning its head to look out past the viewer, its massive wings raised. A range of snow-covered hills can be seen to the background of the piece, and there is a line of East Asian text, along with an artist’s signature seal, running down the left side of the piece. The painting is mounted onto a scroll with a string to the top for hanging.

- fair; spot abrasion with paint loss to left; abrasions with paint loss to lower right; tear to scroll at upper right edge; general wear to scroll.
