Meriden Brittania Company Silver Plated Tea Set
Item Details
A silver plated tea set by the Meriden Brittania Company. Each piece features an etched geometric design and foliate motif on the lids. The pieces also feature four curved feet with lion faces where the feet attach to the base. The set includes a lidded sugar bowl, a creamer, a waste bowl, and a teapot. Each piece is stamped ‘Meriden Brit’a Company, 1866’ to the bottom.
Condition
- Items are in good to fair condition. Tarnishing present, some more heavily than others. Some losses to plating on pieces and faint etching present.
- Items have wear consistent with age and use
