An offset lithograph of a map on foil after a piece, titled Map of the World attributed to cartographer and engraver Henricus Hondius II (1597-1651). This print depicts a view of two world maps, with the North and South American continents on one and the African and Eurasian continents on the other. This print is surrounded with imagery of exploring ships out to sea, and is unsigned. It is matted under glass in a wood frame with a wide green liner and hanging hardware to the verso.
