A group of four obsolete Chinese currency notes and an 1874 American fractional ten cent note. This selection includes a 1935 5 yuan note and 10 yuan note from the Bank of Communications; a 1937 5 yuan note; and a 1940 10 yuan note. Also included is an American 1874 10 cent fractional note with a portrait of William M Meredith and bearing the signatures of John Allison and Francis Spinner.
