Framed Jasperware "Duet" Sculptural Panel
Item Details
A framed jasperware figure titled Duet. This bisque ceramic piece consists of a rectangular, pewter-colored stoneware panel onto which white sprigs and figurines have been attached. The figurines depict a man in a frock coat and buckle shoes kneeling at the side of a bare-footed seated woman, a leafy tree behind them, a lamb at the woman’s feet. The piece is housed behind glass in a linen-lined box with a gilded wooden frame. A hook is attached to the reverse for hanging.
