Edward Lis Oil on Paper of Trees
Item Details
An oil painting on paper by Polish-American artist Edward Lis (1915-2011). This piece depicts a landscape of thin trees colored in hues of red and blue beneath a yellow and blue sky. A pond reflects the yellow light back up, and an orange shade is cast across the nearby rocks and ground. The piece is signed to the lower right corner. It is presented behind a double mat and glass in a wood frame that is wired for hanging.

- scratching to the frame throughout; slight discoloration to the edges of the mats.
