Gay Badenoch Original Acrylic Abstract Painting
Item Details
An original acrylic abstract painting by Gay Badenoch. The painting features organic movement in hues of orange, brown and green . Badenoch was born in 1920 in Boston Massachusetts and also lived in New York, San Francisco and Michigan with the highlight of her career being a three week painting trip to China in 1983 set up by renowned artist Richard Yip. Badenoch painted mostly in oils, acrylics, watercolors and pastels and her style was mostly impressionistic and abstract. The painting is signed to the lower right and dated 69’ . The work is surrounded in a gold tone wooden frame without glass and picture wire is attached to the reverse for hanging.
