1909 Bates Boston National League Piedmont Cigarette Card

Item Details

An antique 1909 Bates Boston Nat’l Piedmont cigarette card. The card features a portrait of Johnny Bates (1882-1949) in his Boston uniform, batting left. Bates played outfield for several National League teams from 1906-1914 including the Boston Beaneaters. The card advertises Piedmont Cigarettes to the back and is presented and preserved in a hard plastic cover.
