A halftone reproduction of an original line drawing of two steamboats, called the Robert E. Lee and Natchez. The two boats push through a wide river, and figures loading goods stand on the close shore. A voluminous cloudscape fills the sky. The print is unsigned. It is presented behind black and silver tone églomisé matting in a wooden frame with a stripe of silver tone inner finish. A hanging wire is attached to the piece’s verso.
