A Gay Badenoch (1920 – 2003) original watercolor painting. The painting features an abstract organic movement in hues of blue, red and gray. Badenoch was born in 1920 in Boston Massachusetts and also lived in New york, San Francisco, Michigan and the highlight of her career was a three week painting trip to China in 1983 set up by Richard Yip. The artist painted mostly in oils, acrylics, watercolors and pastels and her style was mostly impressionistic and abstract. The painting is signed in graphite to the lower right and dated 80’. The work is matted in a blue pastel, is framed under glass and is surrounded in a silver toned frame. Picture wire is attached to the reverse for hanging.
