Chinese Embroidery on Silk of Butterflies and Flowers
Item Details
A framed Chinese embroidery on silk. This depicts two butterflies approaching the white and pink blossoms of the green plant on the right side, with two Chinese characters in the upper left, against the warm sand colored silk. It is presented with a white silk brocade border, under glass in a wooden frame with a d-ring attached on verso.
Condition
- glass is shifted in frame – top edge is visible to upper right; some minor abrasions to frame.
