An original hand-colored 19th century stone lithograph on paper after an original painting by an artist named S. Ellis, titled The Victoria Lead Mines, Township of Rossie. County of St. Lawrence. State of Newyork.. The print depicts men on horseback riding around the perimeter of the mine, which is cut into the rocky face of a hillside. The print’s title is printed to its lower edge. The print is matted in olive green with several French lines. It is presented without glass in a wooden frame with black and gold tone finishes. A hanging wire is attached

- paper is slightly yellowed and has very light creasing across.
