A vintage offset lithograph on canvas after an original 1976 painting by well-listed Japanese artist Tadashi Asoma (Japanese, 1923-2017), titled Lily Pond in Summer. The stunning piece depicts tall reeds stand in front of a pond coated in wide lily pads. The paint was applied in hazy Tonalist fields of bright colors without thoughtful outlines. Striated hills line the background. The painting is signed and dated in-plate to the lower right. It is presented in a wooden frame with a gold tone acrylic face. A sawtooth hanger is attached to the verso.

Condition

- scratching across frame. Print is slightly yellowed from original colors. Light accretion and scratching across print.
