Hand Painted Louis XV Style Bedside Chests

A unique pair of Louis XV style painted nightstands. These striking chests have serpentine fronts with two carved paneled drawers resting on four cabriole legs with scrolled feet. The chests boast a silvery blue painted finish with hand-applied silver leaf to the tops, the carved relief on the drawers, lower aprons, and sides. The chests are unmarked.
