A 1960 signed limited edition hand-pulled lithograph on paper by well-listed French–Armenian Modernist illustrator Jean Carzou (1907 – 2000). The print depicts a scribbled, gestural portrait of a mother and child drawn in black linework against a pale teal background. The print is signed and dated in-plate to the lower left and is signed, dated, and numbered 28/100 by hand to the lower margin. The print is matted in very pale gray with silver tone lining and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with fly-specked silver tone finish and a hanging wire.
Condition
- light ad wear and scratching to frame. Foxing is developing across print.
