Talio-Chrome After Lionel Barrymore Etching "San Pedro"
Item Details
A talio-chrome reproduction of an original etching by listed American artist Lionel Barrymore (1878-1954), titled San Pedro. The print depicts several wooden rowboats approaching a series of wooden boathouses and docks. This print is a talio-chrome etching — a type of halftone intaglio print and a precursor to modern offset lithography. The print is signed and titled in-plate in the lower margin. It is mounted to white backing and presented behind glass in a thin black composite frame with an eyehook to the verso.
Condition
- print is slightly yellowed with age.
