Collection of Porcelain Demitasse Teacups with Spode Copeland
Item Details
A collection of porcelain teacups including a miniature teacup and saucer marked ‘Spode Copeland, in England’, featuring branches of round green leaves and gilt trims. Also included is an Austrian made demitasse teacup and saucer in cobalt and blue. The front of the cup features a hand painted courting scene depicting the woman with a butterfly resting on her finger. The scene is signed to the bottom right, ‘Forst’. The cup and saucer are marked to the underside with footed ‘beehive’ stamp in a gold panel and ‘Made in Austria’. The last demitasse cup and saucer is blue with a silver-tone metallic ornate floral overlay, unmarked.
