A pair of Jacobean-style hand carved walnut wood side chairs. Having a high back with ornate pierced foliate back support and carved crest. One of the chairs, an arm chair, has open armrests with acanthus leaf detail raised on carved and turned legs, Both chairs are upholstered in a rich foliate print fabric with brass tack embellishments.
