A bronze tone sculpture of a dog after the work of French artist Christophe Fratin (1801-1864). This detailed work depicts the broad-chested animal with its head turned toward the viewer, mouth open in an excited expression. This work is signed ‘Fratin’ to the base and is presented on a marbleized pedestal with a protective felt pad to the underside.
