An oil painting on canvas. The winter landscape depicts a meandering stream leading to a pond frames by sloping snow covered banks and trees, some of which retain their copper leaves of autumn. It is signed illegibly in the bottom right and presented with a linen mat in a gold tone wooden frame that is wired for hanging.
