Chinese 'Garlic Head' and 'Hundred Deer' Style Vases

A pair of Chinese vases in Suantouping (蒜头瓶) ‘Garlic-Mouth’ or ’Garlic-Head-Shaped’ and Bailuzun/Niutouzun (百鹿尊) (牛头尊)‘Hundred Deer’ body styles. The Suantouping vase has a rounded body with long neck rising to garlic shaped head and mouth. It has a landscape scene and calligraphy on the body; the neck is painted red as is the base. It is marked to the bottom. The second vase is in Bailuzun/Niutouzun of ‘Hundred Deer’ style. This vase is in blue and white with red accent flowers. A dragon and swirling leaves are painted on the base. The handles are deer heads. It is marked to the bottom.
