Mahogany George III Style Triple Pedestal Dining Table

A fine George III style dining table and two leaves, having three sections with tilt-top pedestals. The French-polished mahogany tops feature striped graining, rosewood cross-banded borders and a reeded edge; over turned pedestals on three splayed legs with carved molded detail and brass paw feet. Circa 1940s. Each top is attached with hand-threaded thumb screws, easily removed from pedestal. Each section is joined by brass clips and oak slats, for stability. Includes custom pads.
