A pair of offset lithograph prints on paper after early 20th century Vogue magazine covers. Includes ‘Spring Millinery’, March 15, 1914 and ‘Hot Weather Fashions Number’, July 1, 1919. Each depicts fashionably dressed women in a colorful scenery. The ‘Hot Weather Fashions’ piece is signed ‘Helen Dryden’ in plate. Both are presented behind acrylic glass in matching metal frames that feature hanging wire affixed to verso.
Helen Dryden (1882–1972) was a respected and popular American artist and fashion illustrator who created many covers for Vogue from 1909 – 1922.
