East Asian Ink and Watercolor Painting

An East Asian watercolor and ink painting of a man sitting under a pine tree. The man is seated cross legged at the base of the tree which curves in a twisting arc above him. He is wearing a cap and a robe and has a long narrow beard. An inscription is written in Asian characters to the upper left. The unframed painting is matted with a border of light blue silk brocade and is stored in a cardboard tube.

Condition

- few areas of slight discoloration to the paper; silk border lifting at lower right side; paper is curled from being rolled.
