An antique hand knotted Persian Shiraz area rug. The rug displays a blue lozenge medallion that sits atop a scarlet colored lozenge shaped field with midnight spandrels. The spandrels display four matching guls and the rug is surrounded by a series of geometric borders. The piece is finished in a short white fringe.
