An original signed gouache study on heavyweight acid-free fibrous pale gray paper by contemporary artist Lyric Morris-Latchaw (Iowa/Ohio, born 1993). The large study depicts a burst of painterly tropical foliage emerging from behind an abstract composition made of fields of brick red, navy, teal, ivory, and mustard. The painting is signed in pencil to the lower right corner. It is presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation. Morris-Latchaw has exhibited across the Midwest, and spent time creating art at the experimental thirft-store-turned-artist-residency Elsewhere in Greensboro, North Carolina.
