A selection of vintage evening bags including Whiting & Davis. This group of four features a gold tone metal mesh convertible clutch by Whiting & Davis with a gold tone and rhinestone closure to the top flap, and gold tone braided strap. The interior is lined in peach satin, has a sidewall slip pocket, and is labeled ‘Whiting & Davis’. Also included is a silver tone frame bag embellished with aurora borealis rhinestones, a silver tone frame bag embellished with silver tone rhinestones, and a black satin envelope clutch with a rhinestone detail on the flap.
Condition
- Whiting & Davis: marks to interior.
- aurora borealis and silver tone frame bag: mesh loose and lining torn at ends, marks to lining.
- silver tone frame with silver tone rhinestone bag: frame does not quite close.
- black bag shows some wear.
