Antique Sterling Unger Bros. Bar Pin and Amethyst Bar Pin
Item Details
A pair of antique sterling silver bar pins, each with an early C-catch clasp to reverse. One is incised with a scrolling floral design to front, and to the reverse is marked ‘925 Fine Sterling’ with the interlaced ‘UB’ maker’s mark. The navette-shaped pin has an amethyst cabochon center on a setting enhanced with raised milgrain detail. The back is marked ‘sterling’ above three stamped letters, each in a heart-shaped field. The total weight, inclusive of all materials, is 0.440 ozt.
