Primitive Painted Wooden Window Shutters

A primitive painted wood window frame with shutters. The two shutter doors each feature a circular form of concentric rings and applied shallow domed wooden pieces in the far corners. They latch with a small metal hook and loop, and have a half column of bamboo between them. This is presented in a wooden frame that is strung for hanging. No clear origin could be determined.

Condition

- paint is worn throughout; heavily worn frame finish; central panels are unattached.

- measured frame, visible image measures approximately 11.5" W x 14.25" H.
