A circa 1980s pastel drawing on paper by Colorado artist Velda Flinn (1914-2006). The piece depicts a majestic Colorado mountain landscape dotted with evergreens, with a clear mountain lake shown to the center. The painting is unsigned, however the artist’s name and date are written to the frame backing, with the artist’s card adhered to one corner. The piece is double matted in blue and presented under glass in a wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- stains to lower right of drawing and mat; light toning, staining and acid burns to mat; overall minor surface wear and scratching to frame; frame would benefit from cleaning; tears and water stains to frame’s backing paper.
