A collection of photographs and a personal letter featuring controversial American journalist William Winchell (1897- 1972). Included are four color photographs of Winchell and friends from one of his birthday parties, including Sammy Fain, Roberta Sherwood, and Jerry Lanning. The photos are accompanied by a personalized letter on New York Daily Mirror letterhead, dated August 22, 1964. It is written to a man named Tom and hand signed by Winchell.
