Zuni Native American-Inspired Carved Agate Bear Fetish With Projectile Point

A Native American-inspired carved agate bear fetish figure, similar in style to those made by the Zuni Pueblo people. The piece depicts a standing bear in side profile, rendered in off-white agate and accented with natural lines and streaks in grey, black, cream and brown. The figure includes a carved pink agate projectile point wrapped to the top of its back with wound sinew. The piece is signed ‘H’ with incised markings to the underside of the front foot.

- small nick to lower edge of bear; minor wear and markings throughout.
