A hand-painted East Asian lidded ginger jar. The piece is comprised of porcelain body with a white glaze accented with a raw sienna and burnt red hand-painted peacock to its center surrounded by large graphic flowers, foliate and gold-tone washes. Detailed with gilt, the piece is finished with a painted lid to match and pointed gilt accented finial. The piece is signed to its underside.
