It is rendered in opaque white and ocher line work on eucalyptus bark. The painted panel is tied to pale branches at the upper and lower margins with twine, framing the image. The artist’s name and clan are listed in paint to the verso, above the inscription ‘CN: 60-5-99, 2 Mimi’.
