Collection of Hand Thrown and Stone Studio Art Tableware
Item Details
A collection of hand thrown stoneware studio art pottery and a carved mug. The collection includes three hand thrown mugs, having a copper and mottled eggshell glaze with substantial, pulled and formed handles. They are illegibly marked in iron oxide to the bases. Also included is a tall-sided handled casserole, having an oval form with a textured rim and applied decorative handles. It is glazed in reds, black and an opaque white glaze, and is signed illegibly in iron oxide to the base. There is also a hand carved stone mug that depicts a rhinoceros, with fine carving detail and handle, unmarked. Also included is a hand-painted porcelain mug with bold and geometric panels.
Condition
-Wear marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
-No found chips or cracks.
