2008 Murat Kaboulov Oil Painting on Canvas of a Reclining Woman

A 2008 oil painting on stretched canvas by listed artist Murat Kaboulov (1939-2010). Executed with loose brushstrokes and drips of paint, this depicts a woman reclining on her side, her head rested on her right hand. It is dated and signed in the lower right corner however no clear artist attribution could be made. The work is presented unframed, mounted to a wooden stretcher. Murat Kaboulov was a Russian-born and educated artist who emigrated to Tennessee in 1992. His works are in the collections of several art museums in Russia.
