Phyfe Style Lyre Pedestal Side Table by Mersman

Item Details

A Duncan Phyfe style lyre side table by J. B. Mersman. This mahogany table has an oval top with border, which is raised at the sides. It has a lyre pedestal raised on splayed, cabriole legs with fluted detail between them. The legs have acanthus carving on the knees and brass paw caps on the feet. The underside of the table is marked, ‘Mersman.’
