A signed limited edition offset lithograph reproduction of an original painting by famed American Western genre painter Frank McCarthy (1924 – 2002), titled The Hostile Land. The print depicts a group of Native Americans on horseback looking out over a dry, desolate rocky landscape. A dark, stormy sky billows behind the figures. The print is signed and dated 1986 in-plate to the lower left and is signed and numbered 921/1000 in pencil to the lower right. It was published in 1987 by Greenwich Workshop Inc., and is housed in an original folio from the organization with a certificate of authenticity included. Presented without matting or framing.
