A signed limited edition offset lithograph reproduction of an original painting by famed American Western genre painter Frank McCarthy (1924 – 2002), titled The Coming of the Iron Horse. The print depicts a herd of buffalo running away frantically as a steam engine plows across the landscape behind them. The print is signed and dated 1987 in-plate to the lower leftand is signed and numbered 921/1500 in pencil to the lower right. It was published in 1988 by Greenwich Workshop Inc., and is housed in an original folio from the organization with a certificate of authenticity included. Presented without matting or framing.
