Vintage Red Cedar Chest

A vintage red cedar chest. This chest was manufactured by the Hill-Hoel Manufacturing Company, South Bend Indiana and is design number 344, per original tag to interior. The exterior is painted a country white and has vertical metal plates accented with floral themed rivets to the front, with block like handles to the side. The chest rests upon bracket feet. The interior is red cedar and has a lock and key. This chest does not lock automatically when shut and requires a key to lock and un-lock the top. The key is also included.

Condition

- Marks and wear throughout consistent with age ans use.
- Two holes to the top.
- Scratches throughout.
- Key does not seem to lock the chest.
