A signed limited edition engraving on paper of a waterfront townscape by listed American artist Kenneth Orzier (1905-1978), created in 1940. This work features a town with European architecture spread along the river where ferries are afloat. The work is dated and signed by hand in graphite to the lower right; it is numbered 6 out of an edition of 13 to the lower left. Mounted on white foam board and wrapped in acetate.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kenneth Orzier was known for his paintings and prints that featured landscapes, genre scenes, and figural subjects. He studied at the University of Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Art Academy, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and George Washington University. Orzier’s work has been displayed by numerous art institutions including the Los Angeles Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Cincinnati Art Museum, among others.
