A vintage hand knotted Persian Mashad area rug. This rug features a crimson field decorated with a starburst medallion surrounded by foliate and palmettes, all in shades of ivory, cornflower blue, and navy. Ivory spandrels sit at each corner and are framed by a complex compound border in a coordinating color scheme. Natural warp fringe at either end finishes the rug.
