A vintage hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet runner. This carpet runner features three irregular central geometric medallions in hues of scarlet, cobalt, and black, atop a rust field, decorated with a lattice and floral detailing. The field is adorned with crimson spandrels and is surrounded by an alternating compound border. The rug is finished with a natural warp fringe at either end.
