A vintage Empire style two-drawer work table with a foldover top. The mahogany-veneered case features a rectangular, hinged top with serpentine edges, which is separated from the body. Directly below are two stacked, machine-dovetailed drawers. The figured fronts are fitted with wooden knobs and the table rises on a wishbone-shaped upright continuing to a plinth base with splayed legs.
