A vintage hand knotted Persian Malayer Sarouk carpet runner. This rug features a central geometric pattern combined with stylized flowers in a color scheme of cream, blue, black and goldenrod on a red background. The central pattern is encased by a compound unresolved border of alternating floral motifs. There is a short cotton fringe at both ends.
