A selection of hand-knotted wool accent rugs. This lot contains an Indo-Bokhara rug and an Indo-Caucasian rug, each likely made in India. The Bokhara-style rug is woven in a palette of cream, crimson, black, and gold; it features a lattice pattern of Tekke and Chemche guls framed by multiple geometric borders and panels. The Turkmen-style rug is rendered in a palette of camel, sapphire, crimson, and black. It features a camel-colored field filled with guls, stars, geometric florets, and other symbolic motifs. Repeating patterns of tribal motifs are featured in three of the rug’s four borders. Each rug has overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe. They are unlabeled.
