A 1953 Cincinnati Reds yearbook. This publication depicts a real-life image of Mr. Red mascot leaning on his bat with the name ‘Red Stockings’ on his front jersey. To honor and commemorate the 1869 Cincinnati Red, this yearbook boldly reads ‘First Professional Baseball Club In America’ at the bottom of its front cover. This publication contains forty-eight pages of black and white player photos, schedule, roster, career and historical information, and local Cincinnati advertisements. Legendary Hall Of Fame player Rogers Hornsby is presented as the Reds manager. With all pages intact, this souvenir yearbook depicts appropriate age wear with tight binding. The yearbook is housed in a plastic protective sleeve.
